Berman Sarrazin is a boutique financial research firm that focuses on the early detection of speculative bubbles. Berman Sarrazin leverages on its in-house, state-of-the-art technology to provide its clients with detailed warning reports on speculative movements in equity and commodity markets.


Berman Sarrazin is led by Nicolas Martelin, PhD, a descendant of the Berman Sarrazin family. 
Dr Martelin researches bubbles. He received his PhD in Finance from the University of Luxembourg for his Essays on Irrational Behaviors in Financial Markets. He holds an MBA with a concentration in Finance from St John's University, New York. He obtained the 2015 UBS Award for detecting bubbles in the art market, a finding that he has published in the Journal of Empirical Finance
Dr Martelin teaches Behavioral Finance and Portfolio Management in the MBA program at Sacred Heart University, and Taxation of Financial Instruments in the LL.M. program at the University of Luxembourg. He previously was a financial analyst for Le Figaro.
